Dover Castle-Reader's Emails
During 2005/2006 my mother, brother and I travelled from France to England. We took the Calais to Dover ferry, whilst in Dover we thought it would be really cool if we checked out Dover Castle.
We of course went into the tunnels to experience the left over history of the men and women that had worked there many years ago. Whilst we were going through the tunnels, we turned a corner there was a hall ahead of us with a door at the end. I myself saw a man in a soldier like uniform, clearly and plainly, but as though he were white. The ghost walked right through the door and disappeard. I thought that it was a projected image put on by the staff members of the castle I looked around and there was nothing to be seen, no lights to show that a projector was there, maybe there was one hidden, but from what I could see there was nothing.
Once our tour had ended and we came out of the tunnels my mum, brother and I were talking and I brought it up, but saying that I was probably just seeing things, but then they too said that they saw something that matched my exact description. We did not say anything because we didn't want to seem as though we were crazy, but now that I have read on this site, almost the exact same description for your final ghost encounter at Dover Castle, I thought that I would share my story with you. It is up to you if you believe me or not, but i can honestly say that there was something there that day, and I will never forget it. Thank you for your time.
