HAUNTED FROME

I lived in the Lower Innox part of Frome in the 1980s. The house was fairly modern, but it was built on the site of Selwood Monastry. My son Seamus was 18 months old when he began to tell us of a swinging man at his bedroom window, and I myself experienced a very distressing situation one night in bed, which can only be compared to what occurred in the film The Entity, so I was happy when we later moved.

However the next house which was only up the road from the previous address also exhibited paranormal activity. I arrived home to find a very heavy chest of drawers had been moved and the drawers and contents strewn across the floor. This also occurred in my sons bedroom. A neighbour also reported to me that when we were out she could hear footsteps walking up and down my stairs.

My current house also has paranormal activity I cannot explain. I think either i'm a conductor for spirits or Frome is extremely haunted!
