THE GHOST OF THE WHITE LADY

Story sent in by Jimmy

I never really believed in ghosts when I was younger, I just thought they were a myth, until I discovered that the Pub that I work in has a few stories to tell about its ghosts.

It all started a few months ago when my boss asked his medium friend if she had ever sensed anything in the pub. She told us she had and that in the bar she always saw a little girl who ran in and out of peoples legs and in between tables and chairs playing. I didn't really think anything of it I just thought she was having us on until one night.

It was about 00:30am and I happened to be stopping over because I had to get up and do breakfast the next morning. I sat in the corridor downstairs waiting for Chris to lock up. I looked up and saw someone walking up the stairs in a white dress I then turned and looked at the glass to doors and I saw her disappear. I felt as though I wanted to cry, like my emotions were all tangled together, I felt angry and upset and I did not know what to do.

I did not see anything after that night for a few months, and then one day I was in the cellar and I turned around and there she was again walking past me. At first it used to scare me, but I am getting used to the fact that something weird going on in this place.
